A Word From Our Founder
AMP Business Development was born from a passion for entrepreneurship that I just couldn’t shake. After spending 20 years owning and operating a business in the service industry, I made the shift to Virtual Assistants in 2014.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs, helping them turn their business dreams into reality.
What I’ve learned is that everyone I’ve worked with shares that same unstoppable drive I had when I first started my own business. But there’s something else they all had in common: the frustration that comes with the not-so-exciting parts of running a business.
We all love the fun stuff—getting new leads, closing deals, creating content that really connects. That’s what we dreamed about when we launched our businesses. But the truth is, there’s always more “busy work” than we expected.
Responding to leads quickly, posting that great blog, drafting regular marketing emails, managing social media… the list never seems to end.

AMP Business Development was born from an entrepreneurial spirit deep inside of me that won’t die. I spent 20 years owning a business in the service industry then transitioned into the world of Virtual Assistants in 2014.
Over the past five years I have worked with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs to assist them in making their dream business a reality.
Everyone I have worked with had that same “nothing will stop me” drive deep inside that I had when started my first business. But… the one thing they all also had in common was the frustration that came with the parts of entrepreneurship that are not that rewarding.
We all like it when we get new leads because an ad is out preforming our expectations, close a deal, create some great content, etc… that is the fun part and what we dreamed of when we started a business. Unfortunately, the reality is that there seems to be more “busy work” than we ever thought about.
Handling new leads in a timely fashion, getting that great piece of content posted to the blog site, creating marketing emails on a regular basis, the list goes on and on. And I haven’t even mentioned Social Media yet.
